Halo Fix-G Hub - New Fixed Technology!

An ever present headache with “normal fixed hubs” is the assembly of a drive cog that is attached by a thread being pulled in both directions by the pedal torque. Of course, the traditional solution to avoiding the cog unwinding itself from the hub in the reverse direction is a left hand threaded lockring, butted up tight against the cog.
But, as many riders have found out, this historic system can be relatively volatile.

INFO: NS BIKES BAR 2011

NS Bikes Proof Bars 2011
The 2011 Proof h-bars will be really big! Higher and wider comparing to 2010. Available in new finishes.

The Proof h-bars are manufactured from a special 7050 alloy material for improved strength and fatigue resistance. These bars come with a 3.3” and 79.1 inch wide and have a new school relaxed geometry. Totally custom tubing and butting makes them strong and light and a first glance you can see that the shape is very special. Perfect bars for dirt jumpers who use suspension forks and are the choice of most of the NS Team riders.

Features:
• Width: 740mm / 29.1”
• Material: 7050 T6 alloy
• Extension: 84mm / 3.3”
• Weight: 360g

NS Bikes District Bars 2011
The District h-bars in 2011 will be higher and wider, making them a perfect fit for street bikes that are usually built around low rigid forks, low headtubes, low integrated headsets and drop BMX stems. Now available in new finishes.

To make the districts, we start by buying the very best Japanese cromoly that is available on the market. Next, the bars go through a complex process of multiple butting and shaping. We use our own specifically designed tools to get the unique shape – note that all the bends have a large radius to minimise material deformation and get that special relaxed look. After that the bars go through a carefully controlled heat treating process, and after that they are ready to get the high end finish using powder coating paint and decals under a clear coat of paint.

Features:
• Width: 740mm / 29.1”
• Material Heat treated 4130 cromoly steel
• Extension: 101mm / 4”
• Weight: 540g
