Breakbrake 17: Charmer Production Builds
If there's one thing I love in this world, it's a big-wheeled bike. 700c with big-ass tires makes my mouth water and the new Breakbrake 17 Charmers are looking mighty fine. Of course, I'd never roll anything bigger than a 50c because anything larger would be a pain in the ass to pedal but these two production photos make the bikes look baller as hell!
Check out more photos at the Breakbrake 17 blog and Flickr.

All-City: Def Wish
This is my small All-City Defwish proto
Fork is BB17
stem, sprocket, and hubs are All-City
BlckMrkt bars
profile cranks 165mm
holdfast
54c continental in the front and 47c michelin in the back
This is easily the best setup I’ve been on and its nice to have a bike that cant really get much better (for me). Higher bb, longer toptube, beefier tubing, no crimping on the chainstays and you can still fit a 2.1 with room to spare. For all the info on the Defwish head on over to All-City.

Volume Bikes: The Ambiguous 26" Vandal
Ambiguity is Volume's friend in this case. The Vandal is their new 26" frameset. While they're not tagging it a fixed freestyle frame and they're not saying it's a dirt jumper, they are implying that it can be used for either. Which is why I think the 26" fixed movement is in a slightly ambiguous position at the moment. Why not just run it freewheel and fixed? I'd be down to see an edit with this bike hitting some dirt and doing some fakie lines. Until people start really pushing the 26" fixed thing to new levels, I will continue to say that 700c is more my preference.
